On September 5, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin held a virtual meeting to oversee the response to Typhoon Hinnamnor. The officials of the Ministry of Environment and its affiliates attended the meeting. The minister urged her staff to make every effort to prevent damage caused by strong winds and torrential rains. 

During the meeting, the minister asked to respond swiftly to Typhoon Hinnamnor. She visited the flood control situation room and asked to thoroughly monitor and prepare for flooding.
