On May 9, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin announced the "Ministry of Environment's Flood Damage Prevention Measures" at the Sejong Government Complex. The measures consist of four components: ① Enhancing flood forecasting and providing tailored flood information; ② Building flood defense infrastructure; ③ Strengthening on-site flood response capabilities; and ④ Enhancing collaboration among flood response agencies. These measures were announced in preparation for this year's natural disaster response period (May 15 to October 15).
