On May 18, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin became the first Korean official to visit the new administrative capital of Egypt where the Minister met with the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Hamed Shaker El-Markabi. The Minister explained Korea's technological capabilities in building green infrastructure, including green hydrogen, that can be applied to develop green infrastructure in Egypt. Furthermore, the Minister expressed the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
