On October 12, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin visited the Young Poong Sukpo Zinc Smelter in Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and toured the main facilities of the smelter. During her visit, the staff briefed the minister on the smelter's environmental management plan. The minister asked the staff for comprehensive environmental management.
