Minister of Environment Holds Meeting to Review Typhoon 'Khanun' Damage Situation and Recovery Support Plans

On the morning of August 11, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin inspected the damage situation and recovery support plans related to Typhoon 'Khanun' at the Han River Flood Control Office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, along with relevant agencies such as the Korea Meteorological Administration, K-Water, and National Park Management Corporation. The Minister emphasized the need to respond without gaps until the river water level stabilizes, and she also urged quick facility recovery and measures to minimize inconvenience for residents in areas affected by flooding and damage, stating, "We will take actions to minimize discomfort and swiftly restore facilities in areas affected by flooding and inundation."
