On December 28, the Minister of Environment, Jeoung Ae Han, visited the Sihwa Lake Tidal Power Plant in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do. She looked around the seawater-powered heating system and its operation. The Minister also inspected the site where renewable energy is generated. During her visit, she also had a chance to examine the operation of the 'Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), installed on the outer wall of the tidal power plant. The Minister emphasized, "It is vital to expand renewable energy to achieve carbon neutrality."
