On August 31, South Korean Environment Minister Han Wha-jin met with Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, during the G20 Joint Environment and Climate Ministers' Meeting in Bali, Indonesia. The minister shared South Korea's plan to achieve carbon neutrality and the NDC target and discussed cooperation between South Korea and European Union in climate change.
