Minister of Environment Han Wha-jin visited the Boryeong Dam branch of the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water) on June 7. Boryeong Dam has been in the "warning" stage of drought since August 2021. She checked the current status of Boryeong Dam and the drought response system. During her visit, the Minister asked the staff to ensure there was no problem in supplying water. 

During her visit to the Boryeong Dam, the Minister also checked water storage and supply status, and was briefed by the field staff on the dam facilities.
