On February 20, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin presided over a meeting to discuss policies strengthening citizens' environmental rights. The Minister said, "As people become increasingly aware of health effects caused by environmental hazards, we will prepare a system for the people to be relieved quickly by communicating with experts and stakeholders from all walks of life.
