On August 10, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin resided over an emergency meeting to check countermeasures against torrential rain. The flood control office, regional environment office, Korea Water Resource Corporation, and Korea National Park Service attended the emergency meeting. She requested to check the water level of the dam and stream and prevent accidents caused by flood-related waste.
