On July 14, Minister of Environment Han Wha-jin attended the MOU signing ceremony on the promotion of K-taxonomy held at the Millenium Hilton Hotel in Seoul. During the ceremony, she said, "The Ministry of Environment encourages financial sector and industry sector to participate in the K-taxonomy actively, or a classification system for environmentally sustainable economic activities so that the K-taxonomy plays a pivotal role to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
