On the afternoon of June 19, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin attended the 2023 Flood Preparedness Interagency Meeting. The meeting was held at the Han River Flood Control Office in Seocho-gu, Seoul. She checked the progress of flood and disaster countermeasures implemented by various organizations. The Minister stated, "It is important that the Korea Meteorological Administration, Flood Control Office, River Basin and Regional Environmental Offices, K-water, Korea National Park Service, Korea Environment Corporation, and other relevant agencies do their best to prevent flood damages."
