On the afternoon of August 7, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin presided over a joint inspection meeting at the Sejong Government Complex with related agencies including the Korea Meteorological Administration, K-Water, and the National Park Management Corporation. This meeting was held in preparation for the northward movement of Typhoon 'Khanun.' During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the typhoon response situation and assessed the contingency plans.
