On June 10, Minister of Environment Han Wha-jin visited the National Wildlife Disease Control Center (NIWDC) in Gwangju Metropolitan City. The Minister was briefed on the current situation of African Swine Fever (ASF) and Avian Influenza (AI) and toured laboratory and necropsy facilities. During her visit, the Minister asked the NIWDC's staff to put their utmost effort into finding the causes of animal diseases, as animal diseases such as monkeypox affect people these days.
