On January 13, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin met with companies and experts to discuss responding to the EU's CBAM. The Minister said, "The Ministry of Environment will fully support Korean companies to strengthen their abilities to respond to carbon trade barriers, including supporting companies to calculate and report carbon emissions in line with EU requirements for export products starting October 2023."
