On the evening of July 11, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin presided over a response meeting with relevant organizations due to heavy rain. The meeting was held at the Han River Flood Control Office in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The session included an emergency inspection of response situations and plans for each organization. The Minister ordered "As heavy rainfall is expected during the vulnerable nighttime and early morning hours, it is imperative to have preemptive and systematic responses."
