On the morning of July 6, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin attended the opening ceremony of the 4th Asia Water Council General Assembly held at the Songsan Global Education Research Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do. In her congratulatory speech, she stated, "We hope that the General Assembly would serve as a meaningful platform for discussing solutions for water-related issues in vulnerable Asian countries affected by water disasters."
