On June 13, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin participated in the Korea-UAE Water Resources Policy and Technology Seminar at the Han River Flood Control Center located in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The Minister met with Ahmed Al Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Petroleum, Gas and Mineral Resources at the UAE's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The purpose was to discuss ways for more Korean companies to enter the UAE market as well as cooperation plans between the two countries in the green industry sectors such as seawater desalination and green hydrogen.
