The Minister of Environment (Han Wha-jin) along with the Minister of the Interior and Safety (Lee Sang-min), Governor of Gangwon State (Kim Jin Tae) and Mayor of Taebaek City (Lee Sang-ho) signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding for Coal Gangue Regulation Improvement’ on Thursday, June 13, at Gangwon State Office located in Chuncheon. She added that with this momentum, the coal gangue will be utilized for the sake of industry beyond waste regulations once the environmentally friendly management is established.
