On the morning of August 9, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin presided over a strategy meeting at the Han River Flood Control Office in Seoul in response to the northward movement of Typhoon 'Khanun', the 6th typhoon of the season. During the meeting, the Minister emphasized, "We will mobilize all available personnel and resources to ensure seamless response until the Korean Peninsula is out of the typhoon's influence zone."
