On the afternoon of September 7, Minister of Environment Han Wha-jin attended the 4th International Day of Clean Air for blue skies commemoration ceremony held at the 63 Convention Center in Yeouido, Seoul. She awarded commendations to those who have contributed, and took commemorative photos with the awardees. On this day, Choo Hyeong-wook, the CEO of SK E&S, Shin Dong-woo, the CEO of Nano Co., and Oh Yeong-sik, the CEO of EVSIS, received the Presidential Commendation, while Lee Dong-won, the Director of the Environmental Satellite Center, and Kim Hak-yoon, the Director of the Daegu Green Environment Center, received the Prime Minister's Commendation.
