Ministry of Environment publicized the contents of the revised Sewerage System Act, and is looking forward to listening to the various opinions from stakeholders and citizens. The main contents are as follow.

1) When establishing or changing Dam construction plans or fundamental urban planning, corresponding mayors or the head of the local government should alternate the basic sewerage system plan.

2) Only the companies that have specialties in and are certified for sewerage construction can build the sewerage in order to prevent inappropriate pipework connections or other inadequate construction.

3) Local governors will have the responsibility for rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining the sewerage system in public areas.
