On August 1, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin visited the collection center for recyclable materials in Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, to examine the separating process of recyclables. She had time to listen to difficulties over discharging clear PET bottles separately. During her visit, she met with sanitation workers and requested to well-manage their safety.  

On the same day, Environment Minister visited RM Hwaseong plant (recycling company) in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. During her visit, she checked the recycling processes, including automatic sorting machines. She emphasized the importance of separating and discharging clear PET bottles for high-quality recycling.
