On the night of July 13, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin visited the flood situation room of the Seoul Han River Flood Control Office in response to the level-3 heavy rain warning issued by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters after 11:30 p.m. While inspecting the response to the overnight flooding situation, the Minister urged the staff on emergency duty to be on maximum and respond accordingly, as damages are expected due to concentrated rainfall during vulnerable nighttime hours.
