On the afternoon of August 1, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin visited the Daeheung-ri area in Cheongyang-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, which suffered significant damage from record-breaking heavy rainfall. Prior to engaging in disaster recovery volunteer activities, the Minister received an explanation of the damage situation from Governor Kim Don-gon of Cheongyang-gun.

On the afternoon of August 1, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin, along with ministry staff, participated in disaster recovery volunteer activities in the Daeheung-ri area of Cheongyang-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, which was severely affected by historic heavy rainfall.
