On July 24, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin, along with Mayor Lee Kang-deok of Pohang City and Congressman Kim Byeong-wook, visited the Hyeongsan River at the POSCO Green Environment Tower in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do. During their visit, they discussed river basic planning, including checking the Hyeongsan River and discussing riverbank maintenance (depositing sedimentation soil) for flood prevention.

On July 24, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin visited the site of the "Naengcheon Disaster Recovery Project" in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do. During her visit, the Minister inspected the progress of the construction and urged for thorough safety management at the site to prepare for floods.
