Ministry of Environment and the Korean Society for Environmental Education (KOSEE) host the 3rd Tripartite Environmental Education Network(TEEN) Symposium on September 27, 2002 in Seoul.

The theme of this symposium is Present Situations of the Local Environmental Education of Each Country. LIN Youbin from State Environmental Protection Agency in China, Urban Planning expert Keisuke MATSUYAMA from Japan, and professor KIM Jung-wook from Korea will present under this theme and discussion will be followed.

Prior to this symposium, workshops will be held from September 24-26 to discuss each nation's programs for strengthening environmental education primarily in the areas of river and local community.

TEEN is one of the projects initiated from Tripartite Environment Ministers' Meeting.
