Korea and Vietnam Signs MOU on Cooperation for Environmental HR Development

The National Institute of Environmental Human Resources Development (president Pil-jae Lee) and the Vietnam Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Environment signed a MOU on bilateral cooperation for environmental human resources development.

The purpose of signing the MOU is to jointly respond to climate change, train global qualified manpower which will lead low carbon green growth and enhance partnership between the two nations.

Scope of cooperation includes:

a)    information sharing on teaching methods and textbooks to promote education performance;

b)     invitation of trainees, instructors and members of education organizations of the partner country;

c)      joint projects for capacity building of environmental government officials;

d)     sharing good policy cases;

e)      and other areas in which bilateral cooperation is deemed necessary for mutual benefits of both countries (organizations).

The National Institute of Environmental Human Resources Development said it would continuously make efforts to conclude MOU with other nations to reinforce cooperation in training and exchanging human resources.
