On July 15, Minister of Environment Han Wha-jin visited Gwanggyo Water Treatment Plant in Suwon to conduct a sanitary inspection of tap water. Recently, midge larvae were found in tap water. The Minister requested the staff to monitor larvae thoroughly and establish a prevention system. She also asked to respond as quickly as possible, conduct field investigation more thoroughly, and take follow-up measures in case of civil complaints.
