On the afternoon of July 21, Environment Minister Han Wha-jin presided a video conference with relevant agencies including the Korea Meteorological Administration, River Basin Environmental Office, Flood Control Center, and K-Water at the Geumgang Flood Control Center in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do. During the conference, she urged each agency to thoroughly prepare for the expected heavy rain over the weekend.
