On September 23, the Ministry of Environment and the city of Sejong signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the development of a resource circulation society in the city of Sejong. The MOU was signed by Han Wha-jin, Minister of Environment, and Choi Min-ho, Mayor of Sejong. Under the agreement, the city of Sejong will introduce a deposit scheme for disposable cups and encourage citizens to use more reusable containers.
