On June 27th, 2003, the Information Communication Ethics Committee has nominated I Love Water website, http://www.ilovewater.or.kr, as a recommended website for youth, for providing healthy and useful information. The website, which now occupies more than 200 visitors daily, is developed by the Ministry of Environment in late February 2003, and managed by the Korea Water Supply and Sewage Management Committee.

In an effort to further promote the awareness towards the significance of water, I Love Water website is holding the I Love Water Information Retrieval Contest on June 20th. The contest invites public to compete their abilities in retrieving information to find correct answers to the environmental problems provided. The participants are required to perform their actions in the most effective manner and the fastest speed in order to win the prize. By doing so, the contest will eventually encourage people to learn and share valuable information on water issues.

I Love Water website will continue to develop its content to help youths to gain useful information on various subjects of water. Furthermore, the site will also prepare other events, such as I Love Water Writing Contest, and I Love Water Flash Animation Contest, to promote the water loving spirit, and motivate public to live up to action for protecting and preserving our precious water supply.
