On the morning of August 16th, the Minister of Environment, Myung Rae Cho, paid a visit to Gurye 5 Day Market, Gurye Public Sewage Treatment Plant and the Gurye County Office in Gurye County, Jeollanam-do Province, which was affected by localized torrential downpour, to meet with Gurye County Governor, Soon Ho Kim, and Governor of Jeollanam-do Province, Sang Rak Song, in order to discuss the quick recovery plan of the damaged areas in Gurye and Seomjin River downstream areas.
