▷ EV Trend Korea 2025 opens at COEX on June 4, showcasing new technologies in zero-emission vehicles and charging systems
The Ministry of Environment (Minister Kim Wansup) announced that it will host ‘EV Trend Korea 2025’ from June 3 to 5 at COEX (located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul).
A total of 91 companies related to electric and hydrogen vehicles and charging infrastructure will participate in the event, showcasing various new e-mobility technologies.
The event will also include a professional conference to evaluate the achievements in the promotion of electric and hydrogen vehicles to date and discuss strategies for mainstreaming zero-emission vehicles in the future. In addition, there will be an export and investment consultation session with overseas buyers to support global investment strategies in the zero-emission vehicle market. Visitors will also have the opportunity to test-drive electric and hydrogen vehicles.
Ahn Se-chang, Deputy Minister of the Climate Change and Carbon Neutral Policy Office at the Ministry of Environment, will attend the opening ceremony on the morning of June 4 and present the Minister of Environment Award to outstanding companies* that contributed to the production of electric vehicles and the development of charging infrastructure based on advanced technology, as well as to K-EV100 companies** actively transitioning from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles.

In addition, he will officially launch the event alongside key executives from major participating companies such as Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Corporation, KGM, EVAR, and EVSIS.
Deputy Minister Ahn stated, “Continuous technological innovation is key to mainstreaming zero-emission vehicles (electric and hydrogen).” He added, “We will further strengthen close cooperation between the government, manufacturers, charging service providers, and battery producers to accelerate the distribution of high-performance and eco-friendly zero-emission vehicles through innovation.”
