Call for Entries: The Best Resource-Circulating Company of 2013: 2013.04.02; Call for Entries: The Best Resource-Circulating Company of 2013 The Ministry of Environment (MOE) and Korea Environment Corporation (KECO) will award the best resource-circulating company of the year 2013. From April 1 to 30, MOE and KECO will invite companies to a contest for 2013 outstanding resource-recycling company, which is aimed at awarding the companies contributed to resource circulation and environmental conservation through reducing waste generation and revitalizing recycling. The candidates for the award should be environmentally-friendly business that contributed to reducing waste and enhancing productivity through waste or recycling by improving manufacturing process or developing green technology. The selected companies will receive awards including a presidential citation. The submission period is from April 1 to April 30, and the fields of contest are 1) fundamental waste prevention in business site, 2) activating recycling of generated waste and 3) man of merit and special awards. To apply for the award, companies should submit the application form or reference letter that describes company’s achievements to the department of waste management under KECO by e-mail or post. The awardees will be announced on the website of KECO in August, and be awarded on the ‘Day of Resource Circulation’ on September 6 held by MOE. Application forms can be downloaded at KECO’s website.
